Orkney.com aims to promote Orkney and its businesses to a wide range of users from locals to businesses further afield, the Orkney diaspora and casual browser, as well as tourists and be meaningful and relevant to each one.
There is a strong community element to the website, with Twitter, Facebook and Flickr integration and email provision.
This is a series of three Island House holiday cottages. The client wanted a crisp, minimalist aesthetic that would be engaging for advanced IT users who are used to sharp design. The client required a bespoke online booking system, with payment facility and all necessary security certificates.
