This is a series of three Island House holiday cottages. The client wanted a crisp, minimalist aesthetic that would be engaging for advanced IT users who are used to sharp design. The client required a bespoke online booking system, with payment facility and all necessary security certificates.

Kirkwall Hotel Visit Website

As a successful landmark hotel in Kirkwall, the hotel required a professional, stylish web presence to complement offline business. We profiled the hotel’s typical customers as older people who are beginner IT users and who may not have the most modern equipment or a full range of browser plug-ins.

We needed the website to appeal to this target group and be easy for them to use, yet still engage with tech-savvy advanced IT users.

The brief was for a fresh, striking design that would appeal strongly to the key market of affluent second homers and retirees outwith Orkney. The client wanted an aspirational design that would sell Orkney as a great place to relocate to and increase the profile of the practice.
